Mike Reeves

He has over 17 years in the Used CNC Machine Tool Industry. He specializes in Turning, Milling and Swiss machine tools. Mike grew up in Gilbert, AZ and attended Gilbert High School where he played football for four years. After High School, Mike attended Chandler Gilbert Community, Mesa Community & Arizona State University. In 1998, Mike started as a technician in the Aerospace sector working and testing Boeing 737 flight support systems. A few years later he became an RTM (Resin Transfer Molding) Technician for Sea Ray Boats in Phoenix, AZ. In 2001 he started a low voltage Security company where he installed CCTV, Card Access and burglary systems for big box stores. Since 2006 Mike has been in the Machine Tool Industry and hasn’t looked back. For fun Mike enjoys camping and spending time with his family of five. He also enjoys playing golf and traveling to new places with his wife Marie. He lived in Colorado for many years, but his roots will always be in the valley of the sun.

James Owen

James has been in the Machine Tool Industry for over 25 years. James specializes in CNC Turning, Milling and Swiss Machine Tools. James has a vast knowledge of many types of machines and is very good at full plant evaluations which makes him a great asset in Auctions & Liquidations. James grew up in Central Texas where he attended Belton High School, where excelled in Track & Field as a Pole Vaulter. After High School, James attended Firefighter/EMT school. James also worked in the Construction field where he did remodel and finish carpentry. James likes spending time with his three kids, fishing, going to the beach, snowboarding, golfing and cheering for the Denver Broncos.

Toby Aebersold

Toby started in the Machine Tool Industry in 2020 and is quickly becoming a specialist in buying and selling surplus equipment such as HAAS, OKUMA, MAZAK, CITIZEN, DMG MORI, NAKAMURA, and many more. Toby grew up in Arizona but have Wisconsin roots. GOPACKGO! In his earlier years he took photography classes throughout high school and college, but all his skills went out the window when cameras switched from 35mm to digital. Toby spent countless hours playing billiards at the local pool hall with friends and spent a lot his free time playing sand volleyball. He was big into wrestling as a kid and wrestled through high school and later trained in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Toby also enjoys off roading, hiking, weekend getaways up north to the pine tree country, and loves experimenting on the Traeger smoker and BBQing with friends. He bartended for many years and later switched over to restaurant management. A few years ago, he decide to make a career change and has become a very import part of Midstate Machinery.

Scott Lin

Scott’s focus has primarily been in the Used Machine Tool industry, but has been involved in selling Industrial water blasting equipment as well as material handling equipment. Scott has been a business owner in the past, with Halo Equipment Sales. Scott’s specialty is CNC turning, CNC machining and CNC Swiss machines. Scott’s broad knowledge of buying and selling as well as Operations and management makes him an integral part in the sales world.

Scott and his wife Lisa recently relocated to Phoenix, Arizona from Southern California. When Scott is not working you can find him on the golf course and exploring new places to eat and drink with his wife. They both love to travel and explore new places.
